    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and appropriate joint structure capable of introducing a sufficient pre-stress into the joint part of a segment in a simple structure. SOLUTION: Two PC steel bars 10 are disposed, in a crossing state, on the joint part between both pieces (such as an upper floor slab piece 1 and a corner piece 3) to be connected, the PC steel bars are tensed, and both ends of each of the PC steel bars are anchored to both pieces, respectively. Therefore, both pieces are joined to each other with the PC steel bars while the pre-stress is introduced into the joint part. The PC steel bar has threads formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof and both ends to which nuts serving as anchoring devices 11 can be screwed. A sheath tube 12 and an anchoring device 11 at the front end are pre-buried in the joint part between both pieces to be connected. The male joint 1 comprises a turning projection 3 forming a claw 3a by uniformly notching the circumferential wall of a cylindrical member in the direction of the center axis, a box-shaped male type housing 4 fitted to the circumferential surface of the turning projection 3 and forming a recess opened on the joint face 10a side so as to approximately locate the center axis of the turning projection 3 on the joint face 10a and a semi-circle columnar shaft 5 fitted to the inside circumferential surface of the turning projection 3. On the other hand, a recess 20b is formed over the overall length of a joint face in the female type joint face 20a, a female joint 2 is buried in the recess 20b. The female joint 2 is composed of a box-shaped female type housing 6 fitted to the claw 3a formed at the turning projection 3 and forming a groove 6a opened on the joint face 20a side.
