    • A photographic support comprising a paper sheet coated with a polyolefin on both surfaces thereof, in which the paper sheet contains an alkyletene dimer mixtures, its alkyl chain composition being defined by the following equation: ##EQU1## in which [C.sub.14 and less] means the content of alkyl chains having carbon atoms of 14 and less; [C.sub.16 ] means the content of an alkyl chain having 16 carbon atoms; [C.sub.18 ] means the content of an alkyl chain having 18 carbon atoms; and [C.sub.20 and more] means the content of alkyl chains having carbon atoms of 20 and more, the alkyl chain contents being represented by % in number of the total alkyl chain content of the alkylketene dimer composition. The photographic support is effectively resistant to permeation of a developing solution.

    • An image-forming method comprises:imagewise exposing a light-sensitive material comprises a light-sensitive layer containing silver halide, a reducing agent and a polymerizable compound provided on a support to form a latent image of the silver halide;simultaneously or thereafter developing the light-sensitive material to imagewise polymerize the polymerizable compound; andpressing the light-sensitive material on an image-receiving material comprising an image-receiving layer provided on a paper support to transfer the unpolymerized polymerizable compound to the image-receiving material.Another image-forming method comprises:imagewise exposing a light-sensitive material comprises a light-sensitive layer containing a photo polymerizable composition or a photo polymerizable compound provided on a support to imagewise polymerize the photo polymerizable composition or compound; andpressing the light-sensitive material on an image-receiving material comprising an image-receiving layer provided on a paper support to transfer the unpolymerized photo polymerizable composition or compound to the image-receiving material.The paper support of the image-receiving material employs a base paper sheet having such distribution of fibers that the total coefficient of variation relating to the distribution curve of laser beam transmittance is not more than 15%. The distribution curve of laser beam transmittance is obtained by helium-neon laser scanning.
