Further, the cleaning liquid is made to flow over form the cleaning tank 2 and is subjected to regulation of the concn., temp., etc., of the cleaning liquid in the circulating tank 4, following which the liquid is circulated via circulation piping 6 to the alkaline cleaning tank 2 by a supply pump 5. Foams 8 are excessively generated by air inclusion at the time of the circulation of the cleaning liquid and the advance of the steel strip 1 in this steel strip cleaning apparatus. The cavitation air bubbles 9 are generated by a generator 10 and are introduced into the cleaning tank 2 and the circulating tank 4. The cavitation air bubbles 9 float in the tanks and are adsorbed onto the foams 8, thereby, the foams are broken and eliminated.

    • PURPOSE: To ensure the prevention of coming-out of a sleeve having various outer diameters and thicknesses by arranging a flange at the fitting hole side of the sleeve fitted to a drum shaft of a coil. CONSTITUTION: A stopper 30 is fitted to a lifting loading table 29 in the state of opening a flange detaining mechanism 12 and also, the sleeve 13 is fitted to the drum shaft 11 after adjusting the height of the lifting loading table 29 while loading the sleeve 13. Successively, a steel strip is wound on the drum shaft 11 and also, after suitably expanding the diameter of the drum shaft 11, the steel strip is formed to the coil state. At the time of completing the coiling of the steel strip, the flange detaining mechanism 12 is actuated and the lifting loading table 29 is advanced in the state of detaining the flange 23 and arranged below the steel strip coil 15 and the height is adjusted to the suitable position. Then, the diameter of the drum shaft 11 is contracted, and while rotating, at need, the drum shaft 11 at low speed, a carriage 28 mounted with the lifting loading table 29 is retracted. In this case, the steel strip coil 15 is taken off leaving the sleeve 13 on the drum shaft 11 as it is.

    • PURPOSE:To safely and surely carry out scrap disposal at a lower instalation cost with a simple maintenance procedure, by opening and closing the bottom of a bucket carrier veheicle recirpocating between a scrap storing position and a scrap discharging position so that the store scrap may be discharged without the carrier vehicle being entirely overturned. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary wheels 9 are attached to the bottom plate 10 of a bucket carrier vehicle 1 inside of main wheels 8 provided at both ends of the carrier vehicle 1. When the bucket carrier vehicle 8 comes to a predetermined position above a pit 4, the auxiliary wheels 9 are positioned on movable rails 3a which are turned and lowered by means of a bottom plate opening and closing device A while the main wheels 8 are positioned on stationary rails 3. The bottom plate opening and closing device A turns and lowers the movable rails 3a in association with the extending and retracting motions of an actuator 12a so that the bottom plate 10 are inclined together with the movable rails 3a to open the bottom section of the vehicle. Accordingly, scrap is discharged through a chute 5 into a main bucket 6.
