摘要： An absorbing ether-like compound including a siliconethoxy, silicondiethoxy, or silicontriethoxy species attached to a naphthalene or anthracene chromophore via an oxygen linkage is used as an organic light-absorbing compound. The absorbing ether-like compound is incorporated into spin-on glass materials to provide anti-reflective coating materials for deep ultraviolet photolithography. A method of synthesizing the light-absorbing ether compounds is based on the reaction of an alcohol-substituted chromophore with an acetoxysilicon compound in the presence of alcohol. A method of making absorbing spin-on-glass materials including the absorbing ether-like compounds is also provided.

摘要： Anti-reflective coating materials for deep ultraviolet photolithography include one or more organic light-absorbing compounds incorporated into spin-on-glass materials. Suitable absorbing compounds are strongly absorbing over wavelength ranges around wavelengths such as 365 nm, 248 nm, and 193 nm that may be used in photolithography. A method of making absorbing spin-on-glass materials includes combining one or more organic absorbing compounds with alkoxysilane or halosilane reactants during synthesis of the spin-on-glass materials.

Methods of producing optoelectronic devices are also disclosed that include: a) providing a surface, b) providing at least one sufficiently light-transmissive crosslinkable composition, wherein the composition comprises at least one silicon-based material and at least one catalyst, c) applying the crosslinkable material to the surface, and d) curing the crosslinkable material to form a sufficiently light-transmissive crosslinked composition. Crosslinkable compositions are disclosed that comprise: polyphenylsilsesquioxane, polyphenylsiloxane or a combination thereof, tetramethylammonium nitrate, at least one solvent, and an aminopropyl triethoxysilane-based compound.

摘要： A label includes indicia disposed on a facestock comprising cellophane. In one embodiment, the indicia are screen printed onto the facestock. In another embodiment, the label may further include layers of tactile coating selectively applied to discrete areas of the facestock to create distinct raised portions on the label. The tactile coating may be applied to correspond to the location of the indicia, wherein the raised portions overlie the indicia. A separate layer of primer may be applied to the facestock to cover substantially an entire side of the facestock. A plurality of such labels may be provided in a stack to an automatic labeling machine for application to a series of containers. The label may be applied to a container and the raised portions of the label provide tactile feel which enhances the aesthetic qualities of the label and container.
