    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device, in which the variation of the flow of a liquid in the width direction of a belt-like material transported in the vertical direction is prevented to be uniformized, the vortex generated by the flow of the liquid or the vibration caused by the turbulence of the liquid is suppressed and the large quantity of the liquid is supplied at a high rate in the liquid discharge device in a treating device of the belt-like material to be surface treated by supplying the liquid on the surface of the belt like material transported in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: In the liquid discharge device 1 in the treating device of the belt-like material to be surface treated by supplying the liquid on the surface of the belt-like material transported in the vertical direction, a discharge port 8 for the discharge liquid is provided at both sides or one side in the width direction of the belt-like material, partition walls 3 having many through holes 4 are provided to interpose the belt-like body, plural liquid discharge ports 6 divided by a partition plate 5 in the width direction of the belt-like material are formed in the discharge side of both partition walls, each liquid discharge port is provided with an individual liquid discharge passage 7 and the individual liquid discharge passage 7 communicates with the discharge port 8. Guide blades extending in the width direction of the belt-like material to interpose the belt-like material in place of the partition wall can be provided in plural stages at a certain interval and the individual liquid discharge passage can be formed from a multiple pipe.

Plural weirs 51 to 54 higher than the top end faces of the partition plates 3 are arranged on the treating liquid pool side of the partition plates 3 of such structure, i.e., on the inside wall side of the tank l opposite to the passing side of the band-shaped material S. The plural liquid pool parts are formed by these plural weirs 51 to 54.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dipping type treating vessel which can make a belt-like material to pass in a treating liquid without causing deformation and always with maintenance of stable running even at the time of high speed running of the belt-like material. SOLUTION: The dipping type treating vessel 1 which makes the belt-like material A such as a steel sheet to pass by revolving around a sinkroll 3 is provided with a throat plane 5a arranged facing to respective peripheral surfaces of the sinkroll at the part where the running belt-like material A begins to come into contact with the peripheral surface of the sinkroll 3 and at the part where the belt-like material A parts from the peripheral surface thereof after revolving. The throat plane 5a is shaped so that the space between the throat plane and the sinkroll 3 at a side where the belt-like material A begins to come into contact with the peripheral surface of the sinkroll 3 is gradually reduced toward the running direction of the belt-like material A and the space between throat plane and the sinkroll at a side where the belt-like material A parts therefrom is gradually enlarged toward the running direction of the belt-like material. Thereby, pressure of flow accompanying the belt-like material at the side where the belt-like material A begins to come into contact with the peripheral surface of the sinkroll 3 is raised by flow passage throttling by the throat plane 5a and pressure of flow accompanying the belt-like material at the side where the belt-like material A parts therefrom is reduced by flow passage expansion by the throat plane 5a.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of arc spots by forming many circumferential grooves at a specified pitch on the surfaces of rolls for energization and forming these circumferential grooves in such a manner that the top parts of the peaks formed of the circumferential grooves exist on the circumference of the same radius. CONSTITUTION: A sheet material 13 is clamped and energized by the rolls 10, 10. The circumferential grooves 11 are formed on the surfaces of the rolls 10 and the top parts 12 of the peaks are positioned on the same radius. The liquid held and wrung between the rolls 10 and the sheet material 13 is discharged from the grooves 11. The discharge efficiency is enhanced and liquid films are hardly formed between the rolls 10 and the sheet material 13. The rolls 10 and the sheet material 13 come into stably contact with each other at the top parts 12 of the peaks of the rolls 10. The generation of the arc spots generated by the unstable contact of the rolls 10 with the sheet material 13 due to the liquid films is prevented. The slip between the rolls 10 and the sheet material 13 does not arise and the flaws on the surfaces of the sheet material 13 are not formed. The meandering of the sheet material 13 is thus prevented.
