摘要： PURPOSE:To decrease rebound loss and to extend service life by projecting a repair cooling plate at a close space between the existing cooling plates in the shell part where refractory lining is dislodged and thermal load is increased then forming a lining layer. Inside circumferential projecting racks 6 in a horizontal direction are formed into an optional number of steps by such plate 30 and the above- described cooling plates 3. A lining layer 11 is formed on the racks 6 by spraying castable refractories 9 from a nozzle 8 thereto. The utilization of refractories which fail thus far to be effectively utilized is made possible by the above- mentioned method, by which rebound loss is decreased. The lining layer 11a is also supported by said racks 6, by which the service life is extended.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform relining work from the inside of a furnace in a hot state with a simple device by making a long sized carriage of cantilever construction movable into and out from the inside of the furnace and providing a freely movable center pole having a freely rotatable and tiltable nozzle to the carriage. CONSTITUTION:In the stand-by state out of the furnace, a center pole 11 is put in a horizontal state. In this state, a coupling of a swiveling and driving shaft is held detached. If necessary, a charging port 37 is opened, and a carriage 7 is run in the horizontal state and is stopped just before the place where the leading end of the pole contacts with a furnace wall 23. The pole 11 is then tilted to the angle at which it does not interfere with a charging port 37. In this state, the carriage 7 is run to the position where the leading end of the pole contacts with the wall 23, and the pole 11 is tilted to the angle at which it does not contact with the port 37 and these are repeated until the pole 11 is erected vertically at the furnace center. Next, a spray material is conducted from the outside of the nozzle through a hole 22 to a spray nozzle 12, whereby relining is accomplished.
