    • PURPOSE:To increase the temp. of molten iron by decarbonization and to increase the blending ratio of scrap iron in a steel making material by using molten iron which is previously desiliconized, dephosphorized, and desulfurized as an essential iron source, and repeating alternate strong and weak top blowing of oxygen against the surface of molten iron to make steel. CONSTITUTION:An agitating bottom gas blowing tuyere 4 is optionally provided to a vessel obtained by lining an iron shell 1 with a refractory material 2, and an oxygen blowing lance 3 is provided to a top-blown oxygen steel making furnace. Molten iron 5 which is previously desiliconized, dephosphorized, and desulfurized is charged into said furnace as an essential iron source, and oxygen is blown in from the top as an essential decarbonization means to make steel. The depth of a dent 6 formed on the surface of molten iron by the top blowing of oxygen is made alternately large and small, and the alternate strong and weak blowing of oxygen is continuously repeated. The secondary combustion of carbon is promoted in this way, and the temp. of molten iron is increased by decarbonization. Consequently, the blending ratio of scrap iron in the steel making material is increased, and the degree of freedom in selecting the kind of iron sources can be expanded.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce eddy currents between layers of a tape-wound core simply and cheaply without lowering the space factor and improve high frequency characteristics of the core by winding a thin magnetic alloy band, produced by rapid solidification, which has at least one longitudinal ridge between both edges. CONSTITUTION:The generation of eddy currents between layers is reduced using a thin strip with a longitudinal ridge to limit the contact area between layers. That is, the ridges are provided between the edge areas where the contact between layers affect the generation of eddy currents significantly. As a result, the high contact pressure area is limited to the ridge portion to prevent adjacent layers from contacting in the area other than the ridge portion and increase the resistance between layers by the decrease in contact pressure. The method to make the ridge on ultra rapid freeze magnetic alloy thin band is easily realized by using a nozzle having multiple spray hole in single roller method and one single ridge at the center is the best for number and place of the ridge from the point of effect for preventing the eddy current between layer. The difference between the thickness of ridge and other part is 1-10mum.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the correct drive of a vehicle along a magnetic mark and to completely avoid the runaway of the vehicle by arranging the magnetic mark of the prescribed width along the path of the guided vehicle and at the same time mounting a magnetic field generating means and a magnetic detecting means on the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A drive signal (a) is produced when a vehicle 7 is set on the center line of a magnetic mark 5 and a signal generating means 1 is actuated. A magnetic field generating means 2 produces a space magnetic field to the excited mark 5 and therefore the magnetic field detecting means 3 and 4 detect this mark 5 to control the traveling direction of the vehicle 7 based on the detection signals C1 and C2. In this case, a strobe signal (b) like a rectangular pulse synchronous with the signal (a) is produced from the means 1. Then the signal (b) is directly inputted to an identification means 6, and the signals C1 and C2 are segmented based on the signal (b). These segmented signals C1 and C2 are supplied to a position error correcting means. This means corrects the position error of the vehicle 7 based on the segmented signals d1 and d2. Then the traveling direction of the vehicle 7 is corrected and the vehicle 7 is driven along the mark 5.

    • PURPOSE:To surely detect the deviation of the running direction of a vehicle to control the running direction by providing a magnetic detecting means which is wound symmetrically with respect to the middle between both ends of a magnetic field generating means provided with magnetic poles in both ends in the breadthwise direction of a magnetic marker. CONSTITUTION:When the vehicle is left or right deviated from the running center line of a magnetic marker 7, the magnetic flux generated from one magnetic pole of a core 2 crosses a magnetic detecting coil 5 and reaches the magnetic marker 7. The magnetic flux generated from the other magnetic pole less crosses the magnetic detecting coil 5 or does not cross it. As the result, an output signal is generated in the magnetic detecting coil 5 in accordance with the change of the crossing magnetic flux. That is, the output signal where the polarity is inverted is obtained from the magnetic detecting coil 5 in accordance with the direction in which the vehicle is deviated from the running center line of the magnetic marker 7. Thus, the running position deviation of the vehicle is corrected.
