Also, a series circuit comprising a second capacitor 29 and third switching means 30, 31 which repeat on-off synchronizing with the second switching means is connected to the secondary windings 28b of the transformer 28. Furthermore, a series circuit comprising a rectifier diode 31, an inductance element 32 and a filter capacitor 33 is connected to both ends of the third switching means so that the voltage at both ends of the filter capacitor 33 is supplied to a load.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation by the effect of heat in the stage of forming a recording film by sputtering or vapor deposition by using ceramics for a guide track. CONSTITUTION:Ceramics are used for the guide track. Distilled water is added to, for example, aluminum isopropoxide and the mixture is stirred in a heated state to effect hydrolysis. A hydrochloric acid is further added thereto and the mixture is rested until a transparent gel is obtd. The gel is slowly dried to obtain a thin boehmite gel sheet. A stamper having the shape reverse from the shape of the guide track to be used is pressed to the thin gel sheet to transfer the shape of the guide track to the sheet. The gel sheet is calcined in an electric furnace by which the thin transparent alumina sheet is obtd. The thin transparent alumina sheet 2 having the shape of the guide track is adhered onto a substrate 1 and the recording film 3 is provided by sputtering or vapor deposition. A protective layer 4 is further provided thereon.

CONSTITUTION:The optical recording film 3 is formed by a sputtering method, etc. on the transparent ceramic substrate 1 such as the transparent alumina substrate obtd. by pressing a stamper having the shape reverse from the shape of the guide track to a thin boehmite gel sheet obtd. by a sol-gel method to transfer the shape of the guide track to said sheet and calcining such sheet in an electric furnace. A protective layer 4 is then provided on the film 3 to obtain the optical disk. The excellent substrate for the optical disk which obviates the deformation by the effect of heat in the stage of forming the film 3 is thus obtd. by using the transparent ceramic substrate 1 in the above- mentioned manner.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for electrical equipment to be plugged in again by using a power cord equipped with a plug which, on a side different from that on which a plug for connection to the AC inlet portion of first electrical equipment is located, has an AC outlet portion for connection to the plug of second electrical equipment. CONSTITUTION:A plug 8a at one end of a power cord 8 equipped with an AC outlet is connected to an AC receptacle 7, and a plug portion 8c provided at the other end while a power cord 8b extends between the ends is connected to the AC inlet portion 10 of an electrical equipment main body 9. A power-plug- equipped power cord 12 attached to other electrical equipment 11 to which power is supplied is connected to an AC outlet portion 8d that is formed on a side different from that on which the plug portion 8c of the cord 8 is located. Therefore, when the equipment main body 9 alone is moved for repair or other reasons, only the plug portion 8c need be disconnected from the AC inlet portion 10 while power is kept supplied to the other equipment 11 from the AC receptacle 7 via the cord 8. Also, the equipment main body 9 needs no AC outlet portion and so can be miniaturized.
