    • When a program execution unit of a computer executes a creation instruction of objects utilized by an execution target program in process of executing the execution target program, the program execution unit disposes a created object in an internal heap when a life period of the created object is not contained within life period of objects for root class and gets average value of life time corresponding to set of objects to which the created object belongs with reference to memory allocation information table to dispose the created object as a long-life object in an external heap when the gotten average value of life time is equal to or larger than a predetermined value. Accordingly, life time of objects is measured and long-life objects are not managed by GC, so that program utilizing objects can be executed at high speed.

    • A self-diagnostic blood pressure measuring apparatus displays a diagnostic result for each of the measured systolic and diastolic pressures for warning to an user. The apparatus includes has a detector which measures systolic and diastolic pressures thereof, a display unit having first and second numeric indicators respectively for displaying individual numerical values of the measured systolic and diastolic pressures. A diagnosing circuit is included to compare the measured systolic and diastolic pressures respectively with predetermined systolic and diastolic reference ranges so as to provide a systolic warning when the systolic pressure is out of the systolic reference range and provide a diastolic warning when the diastolic pressure is out of the diastolic reference range. The display unit includes a warning display section which notify the systolic and diastolic warnings, individually. Thus, the systolic and diastolic warnings can be individually displayed together with the measured systolic and diastolic pressures appearing at the first and second numeric indicators, thereby providing detailed blood pressure information for immediate recognition by the user.

    • The improved package of thermal recording sheets comprises a container of a stack of thermal recording sheets and a humidity control agent that is secured to the container having an opening through which the thermal recording sheets can be taken out individually. The improved magazine comprises an enclosure for accommodating sheetings that have their sensitivity varied with humidity changes, a cover that is adapted to be opened or closed with respect to the enclosure and a mechanism for engaging the cover with the enclosure, wherein all areas of the cover that mate with the enclosure are furnished with a moisture resisting structure. Both the package and magazine ensure that a plurality of sheetings such as thermal recording films that are highly sensitive to moisture can be held at all times in a desired humidity environment in a moisture controlled state, especially in the interior of a thermal image recording apparatus. In addition, the thermal recording sheets can be easily supplied to the thermal image recording apparatus without touching them directly by hand and, hence, images of high quality can be recorded in a consistent manner.
