CONSTITUTION:A main valve 12 and sub-valve 9 are pressedly contacted with and separated form a main valve seat 13 and sub-valve seat 12b respectively by exciting force, which is generated by external electric power carrying current to a coil 1 and moves up and down a plunger 3, the attraction force of an attraction piece 2 excited by a permanent magnet 5 and the urging force of a main spring 16 and sub-spring 17 to pass and shut off gas through a main air passage S and a sub-passage 14. The spherical sub-valve 9 is rotatably abutted on a guide cylinder 15 and the sub-valve seat 12b by the urging force of the sub-spring 17, and even if a drive section K is mounted in the inclined state on the main valve seat 13, the main passage can be closed by the pressing force of the main spring 16. By this constitution, the main valve 12 in opening state can be kept stable, and valve closing performance reliability is improved by the guide cylinder 15 and the spherical sub-valve 9 resulting in the save of electric power consumption.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the recovery action of a gas channel by a remote control by constituting so that a controller which receives measurement signal of gas instructs a switching device, when this signal is abnormal, to energize a gas shut-off valve electrically and shut off the gas channel and, on the other hand, the controller which receives signal to open valve energizes the same gas shut-off valve from a differnt direction to open and recover the gas channel that is shut off. CONSTITUTION:When the gas is used abnormally, a controller 10 judges the measurement signal that is sent from the measurement device of a gas meter, and if this signal is abnormal, electric current is supplied to a switching device 100 from a closure electric power source 102 and an electromagnetic coil 6 is controlled so as to have the flow of shutoff current I1 in it. Then, this shut-off current I1 operates a gas shut-off valve G to shut off the gas channel A. When valve-opening signal is inputted to the controller 10 from a remote control section, electric current is supplied from an open electric power source 101 to the switching device 100 and the electromagnetic coil 6 is controlled to have the flow of an opening current I2 in the direction opposite to that of the shut-off current I1. And this opening current I2 operates the gas shut-off valve G and opens and recovers the shut-off gas channel A.
