A rotation-preventing projection of an accommodating case protrudes into a common area of the hubs when a cassette is loaded in the forward and backward orientations, and the projection includes two plate-like portions of different heights, disposed in parallel, and with a predetermined interval therebetween. A distal end of the long plate-like portion has a guiding inclined surface for correcting the positional offset of the hub by contacting its inner peripheral surface. The hub is retained by the two plate-like portions. Backward-pressing surfaces are provided in opposing corner portions of the case to secure the cassette tape within the case.
