    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which allows integral formation of a base and radiation fins by employing a method such as wire working method or the like, and allows to enlargement of the specific surface area of the radiation fins. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is provided with the base and radiation fins arrayed on the base in the shape of a matrix with a space between respective lines, while at least one side surface in a direction intersecting the row direction and the column direction of the arrangement are provided with a repeated shape of recesses and projections in a substantially orthogonal direction to the base. According to this method, the specific surface area of the radiation fin can be enlarged. Further, the problem can be eliminated in a conventional heat exchanger such that; (1) the number, shape or the like of the radiation fins is limited whereby the size of surface area of the manufactured radiation fins is limited, and (2) the radiation fins must be connected to the base and the number of manufacturing process is increased since the surface area in which radiation fins can be installed is limited.
