SOLUTION: This turbine generating set 1 which converts power generated by a turbine generator 4 by means of a converter 5 and further converts DC power outputted from the converter into AC power by means of an inverter 7 prior to outputting to a load, controls a voltage inputted into the inverter to be Vc1-Vc2 by supplying the inverter with power from a system 8 when the voltage supplied to the inverter via the converter is not larger than the preset first voltage value Vc1 and consuming surplus power in a regenerative resistor 11 when the voltage supplied to the inverter via the converter from the turbine generator is not smaller than preset second voltage value Vc2.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor capable of efficiently inhibiting temperature rise.SOLUTION: A reactor 1 includes: a core 2 which has gaps 5 and is made of a magnetic material; coils 3 wound around the core 2 in a coil form; and plate-like cooling members 4, each of which is disposed between a portion of the core 2 which includes the gaps 5 and the coil 3, the cooling member 4 in which a refrigerant passage 9 is provided. Each cooling member 4 is a plate-like member which is non-magnetic and has heat conductivity. The reactor 1 may further include an insulator disposed between the coil 3 and the cooling member 4. Each cooling member 4 is disposed so that both circumferential ends of the core do not contact with the cooling member 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a double three-phase motor by an inverter so as to suppress fluctuation of a magnetic flux and reduce loss of the motor.SOLUTION: A motor 4 includes first and second coil groups having induction voltages of mutually reverse polarities. A motor drive system includes a power conversion device 1 which generates a first three-phase AC voltage and applies it to the first coil group, a power conversion device 2 which generates a second three-phase AC voltage and applies it to the second coil group and a controller 3. The controller 3 receives supply of a third three-phase AC voltage, generates a carrier wave having a triangular wave voltage waveform and controls the power conversion device 1 so as to generate the first three-phase AC voltage by executing pulse width modulation using a triangular wave comparison system on the basis of the carrier wave and the third three-phase AC voltage, and controls the power conversion device 2 so as to generate the second three-phase AC voltage by executing the pulse width modulation using the triangular wave comparison system on the basis of the carrier wave and an inversion voltage of the third three-phase AC voltage.
