    • There is disclosed a transparent magnetic recording medium having, on a support, at least one magnetic recording layer containing magnetic particles, which medium comprises a first set of protuberances having a height of 0.001 &mgr;m or more than 0.001 &mgr;m, but less than 0.1 &mgr;m, and a density of from 1×102 pieces/100 &mgr;m2 to 1×105 pieces/100 &mgr;m2, and a second set of protuberances having a height of from 0.1 &mgr;m to 0.5 &mgr;m, and a density of from 1 piece/100 &mgr;m2 to 200 pieces/100 &mgr;m2, on a surface that is at the side of said at least one magnetic recording layer provided, wherein the difference of height between the first set of protuberances and the second set of protuberances is 0.1 &mgr;m or more but 1.0 &mgr;m or less; and said medium contains at least first and second kinds of inorganic particles and/or organic high-molecular particles, each of which has different average primary particle diameters, in at least the magnetic recording layer or an outer layer positioned such that the magnetic recording layer lies between said outer layer and said support, the average primary particle diameter of the first kind of the inorganic particles and/or organic high-molecular particles used to obtain the second set of protuberances being more than 0.4 &mgr;m, but 1.5 &mgr;m or less. This transparent magnetic recording medium is assuredly capable of recording/reproducing various magnetic information, with little occurrence of magnetic error.

    • The present invention discloses an anti-dazzling film that can be provided by high-speed coating and can meet market demands for an increased area and homogeneous properties and lowered cost while enjoying satisfactory scratch resistance. The present invention provides the anti-dazzling film comprises a triacetylcellulose film and an anti-dazzling layer provided on the triacetylcellulose film. The anti-dazzling layer comprises: a light transparent resin comprising an acrylic resin; plastic light transparent fine particles; and a leveling agent comprising a copolymer comprising (meth)acrylic acid repeating units containing at least one perfluoroalkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms and (meth)acrylic acid repeating units having at least one bornane ring. A low-refractive index layer is provided on the anti-dazzling film to constitute an antireflection film.

The object is achieved by an anti-glare, anti-reflection film made of a low refractive index layer provided on a transparent support, and an anti-glare layer arranged between the transparent support and the low refractive index layer, the surface energy of the anti-glare layer being 25 mN·m−1 to 70 mN·m−1.
