    • PURPOSE:To prevent an insufficient fusion welding from occurring by discriminating certainly an aperture of a pipe joint by a method where a lower limit for electricity conduction-stop time, an upper limit for electricity conduction-atop time, and a temperature rise rate by electricity conduction-stop according to an aperture size are obtained, and electricity conduction to a heating wire is controlled from those values. CONSTITUTION:A power is supplied to a heating wire 2 provided on an inner surface of a thermoplastic resin made joint, and the joint body is fusion welded to a thermoplastic resin made pipe 50 fitted onto the inner surface by heating electricity conduction. A temperature sensor 6 is fitted to a pipe joint 1 to detect initial temperature To of the pipe joint 1. Electricity conduction stop temperature Te is obtained from the initial temperature To, and temperature rise rate Tp, Tp=(T-To)/(Te-To) is obtained from temperature T of the pipe joint 1 when certain set time St has elapsed in conduction of electricity, and the aperture size is discriminated. Besides, upper and lower limits for electricity conduction stop temperature rise rate are obtained. Electricity conduction to the heating wire 2 is controlled from the electricity conduction-stop time and the electricity conduction-stop temperature rise rate. Thereby, excess fusion weld by excessively heating the fusion welded part between the pipe 50 and the pipe joint 1 and inferiority in fusion weld by excess electricity conduction fusion weld time are not caused.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove defective fusion by eliminating unevenness in a temperature rising speed at an upper limit time and to perform normal fusion at a lower limit time by putting upper and lower limit current-carrying times and a standard current- carrying time are displayed into bar codes, mounting them on a coupling body and monitoring the current-carrying times based on the monitoring of the temperature of a fusion part. SOLUTION: In a current-carrying plug 9, a connector 8 to fit a thermocouple 6 in a connector pin is arranged in juxtaposition for integral formation and simultaneously with insertion of a connector 8 part into a connector pin, the tip surface 6e of the thermocouple 6 is brought into contact with the bottom 12 of a recessed hole 4. The other end of the fusion plug 9 is connected to a controller and an abnormality monitoring signal is fed to the controller side. A bar code is marked on the outer peripheral surface of a coupling body 1 and mounted on a connector pin 3 and an upper surface side in the vicinity of a recessed hole 4. Information is coded on the bar code which is recorded. Information of the bar code is read by a bar code reading device connected to a controller. This constitution improves reliability by controlling a current-carrying time togetherwith control of the temperature of a fusion part.

    • PURPOSE:To easily remove sensors inserted into sensor holes after finishing the supply of power and enhance working efficiency by removing the sensors from the sensor holes of a pipe joint during a period of time until temperatures in the sensor holes of the pipe joint are lowered from the temperatures at the time of finishing the supply of power to a fixed level after stopping the supply of power to an electric heating wire. CONSTITUTION:The title bonding method is carried out by supplying electric power to an electric heating wire 2 embedded in a thermoplastic pipe joint 1, stopping the supply of power to the electric heating wire 2 when the temperatures of sensors inserted into sensor holes of the pipe joint 1 reach a level at which the supply of power is finished, and electrically welding a thermoplastic pipe inserted into the pipe joint. In this case, after the supply of power to the electric heating wire 2 is stopped, the sensors are removed from the sensor holes of the pipe joint during a period of time until temperatures in the sensor holes of the pipe joint 1 fall by 50 deg.C from the level at which the supply of power is finished. Thereby, the sensors can be easily removed, the time required for welding and bonding work is shortened, and working efficiency is enhanced.

In addition, the opening degree of the valve plates 13 and 14 can accurately be adjusted, and desired flowing characteristics can be obtained. Moreover, the opening degree of the valve body 1 in the full opening state can sufficiently be increased.

After insertion of a resin pipe 50 into an opening part 13 of the pipe joint, when an electric nichrome wire 2 is turned on by connecting with a power supply source, a resin close by the electric nichrome wire is molten by heat of the electric nichrome wire, the molten resin is expanded to the outer circumferential surface side of the resin pipe 50, the outer circumferential surface of the resin pipe is molten and fusion with the resin pipe is performed.
