    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the volume efficiency of a pump by forming two or more of the contact portions of inner and outer teeth near a closed part where the displacement of the pump is maximized.
      SOLUTION: In this inscribed type gear pump, a suction port 7 and a discharge port 8 formed in a same circular arc shape are formed at symmetrical positions with respect to an axis X connecting the closed part 20 where the displacement of a pump chamber 6 formed between the inner and outer teeth 3a and 4a of outer and inner rotors 3 and 4 is maximized to a meshed part 21 where the displacement is minimized. The sealability of the pump chambers can be increased by forming three line-contact portions 19a to 19c of the inner and outer teeth near the closed part and in an area between the end part 7a of the suction port and the start end part 8a of the discharge port.
