    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly calculate a state of deterioration of a secondary battery, to enable to suitably cope therewith and thus to prolong the life of the secondary battery, by simply detecting a situation wherein the internal resistance of the secondary battery rises transitionally (temporarily), from the situation of the operation thereof, in regard to a secondary battery system used for a hybrid system, an wind power generation system, a photovoltaic power generation system, etc.
      SOLUTION: The secondary battery system, which includes a battery controller for controlling charge and discharge of the secondary battery and a general controller for controlling the whole system, includes an ammeter which detects a charging current and a discharging current of the secondary battery and a voltmeter which detects the voltage of the secondary battery. Based on a current value and a voltage value detected by the ammeter and the voltmeter, the internal resistance of the secondary battery in charging and that in discharging are determined, and based on the relationship between them, a temporary rise of the internal resistance of the secondary battery accompanying the charge and discharge with a large current is discriminated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion battery in which decomposition reaction of a film forming agent is suppressed. SOLUTION: The lithium ion battery 100 has electrodes 1, 2 and electrolyte solution housed in a battery container 13, and has a film forming agent addition means 20 which adds a film forming agent 21 for forming a film on the surface of the electrodes 1, 2 into the electrolyte solution in the battery container 13. By this film forming agent addition means 20, an electrochemical decomposition reaction of the film forming agent 21 is suppressed and a long-term preservation is enabled, and moreover, by adding the film forming agent 21 into the electrolyte solution, the film deteriorated on the surface of the electrodes 1, 2 is restored, and the lithium ion battery 100 is regenerated to attain a long life.
