摘要： An LCD display system has an image change controller which generates 2 to the power of j types of image change control data corresp. to a j bit display data value in a (i+j) bit data value and selects a type of image change control data control data value. A multilevel grey stage pulse generator produces pulses of 2 to the power of i +1 types. A selector/driver selects a display pulse from these types according to the generated control data value and applies it to an LC panel which can display 2 to the power of i + j grey stages. ADVANTAGE - Maintain brightness even if display changes rapidly.

摘要： The LCD has x-axis and y-axis drivers (112,114), an LCD screen (116) and a serial-parallel converter (110). The latter converts serial analogue image data into parallel analogue image data and can operate at high speed. The x-axis driver, which can operate at low speed, receives parallel analogue image data and delivers it for a horizontal display line of the LCD. The analogue display data are extracted cyclically from the converter using a latch clock. ADVANTAGE - Has multiple shade control and can display not fewer than nine colours using analogue input.

摘要： An improved multi-color liquid crystal display system which is capable of making visual color representation of more than eight colors in a display panel, such as a liquid crystal display panel which is composed of liquid crystal cells having three primary color filters attached thereto. Lightness of a cell is controlled by causing the cell to be in "ON" state during M frames out of N frames (N>M) to thereby provide half-tone color representation of the cell. This enables increase of the number of colors represented with the three primary color cells more than eight by combining "ON", "OFF" and the "half-tone" states of the three primary color cells.

摘要： A data electrode driving circuit, a scanning electrode driving circuit, a liquid crystal display unit and a driving method thereof for attaining simultaneous scanning and driving of a plurality of rows in a passive matrix type liquid crystal display unit. A scanning electrode driving circuit (108, 109) includes a scanning function generating circuit (160) for generating scanning functions (114) for m rows. A scanning voltage is selected by the scanning function and a driving voltage is supplied to the scanning electrode. On the other hand, a data electrode driving circuit (106, 107) includes shift registers (134) for m rows. The shift registers (134) produce display data (102) for m rows taken therein at the same time. The display data (102) for m rows and the scanning function (114) produced by the scanning electrode driving circuits (108, 109) are subjected to comparison operation. One level of m+1 level voltages is selected in accordance with the operation result and is supplied to the data electrode. The liquid crystal panel (100) performs display in accordance with the voltage for the scanning electrode and the voltage for the data electrode.

摘要： A magnetic bubble memory chip is disposed at a position surrounded by a rectangular annular core having two pairs of opposits sides wound by a pair of wires, respectively, and is covered by a case for confining revolving magnetic field, thereby providing revolving magnetic field to said chip. In a bubble memory, on the other hand, a permament magnet is used as a holding magnetic field source, lying at a predetermined angle to the chip. In the present invention, an inclination between the chip and the magnet is provided by forming projections on the revolving-magnetic-field confining case to be inserted between the chip and the magnet, or by having the case changed in plate thickness.
