    • PURPOSE:A seal structure by bellows devised to expand bellows cores uniformly at the rapid extension of a stroke by equipping a buffer spring against the quick operation of an action cylinder on a slider guide. CONSTITUTION:In this device, an action cylinder 5 and a static cylinder 6 are arranged to be fitted with each other, and several bellows cores 1 are equipped between the inner and the outer position of both cylinders 5 and 6 with upper and lower metal fixtures 2 and 3, between which slider guides 4 and 4A with stoppers 9 and 9A to limit the extension of the bellows scores 1 are provided. Here, a compression spring 11 is arranged between the above-written stopper 9 and a spacer 10, and between the stopper 9A and an ajoining slider guide 4A. In this construction, actions of bellows cores 1 on the end part are softened against the quick operation for them for preventing their unbalanced transformation.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a shortened control rod driving mechanism driving part by providing a stroke operation mechanism equipped with a ball screw for stroke operation, etc., a control rod driving shaft and a ratch shaft which are put in a penetration state so that they move up and down relatively, and a latch mechanism. CONSTITUTION:For up-down driving as normal driving, the rotation of a stroke motor 4 is transmitted from a ball screw nut 2 to the ball screw 1 with a spline and then transmitted to a scramming mechanism 11 through the latch mechanism 16. The mechanism 11 consisting of a magnet 25 and a link mechanism 26 energizes the magnet 25 in normal operation to close the mechanism 26 and the up-down driving of the mechanism 16 is transmitted to a driving shaft 19 and the latch shaft 20 as it is. For scramming, the magnet 25 in the mechanism 11 is demagnetized to release the mechanism 26 and the driving shaft 19, etc., is fallen integrally with a control rod 22 which is positioned below it. When fuel is replaced, the latch shaft 20 is pressed up to disconnect the control rod 22 and driving shaft 19 from each other and then the mechanism 16 is lifted. A latch motor 9 is operated after the control rod 22 and driving shaft 19 are disconnected to make a driving shaft lock mechanism 12 operate an armature 27, thereby preventing the driving shaft 19 from falling.

    • PURPOSE:To support firmly a control rod of a fast breeder reactor by connecting the control rods to an attracted body to be attracted by a magnet, so as to be able to be swayed freely. CONSTITUTION:A main body 3 of a control rod containing a neutron absorbing material, is inserted into a lower guide tube 1 adjoining a nuclear fuel assembly 9 that constitutes a core of a fast breeder reactor, so as to be freely movable upwardly and downwardly. An upper end of the lower guide tube 1 is provided with a handling head part 1 to be prepared for handling the lower guide tube by other equipments. A whole control rod is constituted by attaching a lower end of a connecting member 23 of the control rod which passes through the handling head 1a to the main body 3 of the control rod. To the upper end of the connecting member 23 of the control rod, an armature 7 which is a supporting metal fixture of the control rod, is connected. By a magnetic attraction of an attracted body (the armature 7) by a magnet 8, the control rod 3 connected to the attracted body, is supported, and even if a bending moment works onto the control rod 3 under a supported condition, the control rod just sways without the bending movement being transferred to the attracted body, and therefore the attracted body is scarcely to be torn off from the magnet 8 and the control rod is firmly supported.
