摘要： PURPOSE:To enable recording on a tape with the same format as that of standard-speed recording even in high-speed recording by recording a digital input signal, which time base is compressed to 1/K, at time base compressed speed as it is, and reproducing the signal in the case of reproduction after extending the time base to be K-fold as long as time for recording. CONSTITUTION:When a switching signal RS2 is outputted from a recording system switching signal generation circuit 6 by operating a recording mode changeover switch 5, a high-speed digital video signal is inputted to a recording system processing circuit 50. After executing a signal processing by a prescribed processing clock, the signal is supplied to magnetic heads 72 and 72', which are fitted to a cylinder 70, and recorded onto a magnetic tape 71. On the other hand, a servo control circuit 60 controls the cylinder 70 and the magnetic tape 71 at the prescribed number of cylinder rotation and tape velocity. In this case, processing clocks, cylinder rotation numbers and tape velocity both in standard- speed recording and high-speed recording are set in prescribed relation. Thus, high-speed recording is enabled.

CONSTITUTION:Signals reproduced from a magnetic tape 101 are amplified and inputted to equalizing circuits A105 and B108. The equalizing circuit A equalizes the waveform of the reproducing signal in the signal format of a mode A. A clock reproducing circuit A106 reproduces the clock synchronous with the reproducing signal, converts the clock to digital data and identifies it. Based on the reproducing clock, a synchronizing signal detecting circuit A107 detects the pattern of the synchronizing signal in reproduced data. Even concerning the equalizing circuit B, the similar operation is executed. Next, a detected result is inputted to a discriminating circuit 111 and demodulated by a demodulation circuit 113 while changing over switches 112 and 115. Thus, high-speed search can be realized without fail by reducing the detection miss or erroneous detection of an ID code at the time of high-speed search.

The compression ratio of the compressor 3 is selected so as to generate frequency deviation by the frequency modulation so that the frequency difference between the instantaneous frequencies of the two reproduced signal simultaneously read from two adjacent sound recording tracks can exceed an audible frequency, and the expansion ratio of the expander 15 is selected to be equal with the compression ratio of the compressor 3. Thus, with simple circuit configuration, the sound quality can be prevented from being degraded by the over modulation.

摘要： An apparatus for detecting and compensating the drop-out in a video tape recorder in which a FM audio signal is recorded on record tracks with a FM video signal. In play back mode, a phase locked loop type frequency demodulator (34) demodulates the reproduced FM audio signal. The reproduced FM audio signal is supplied to a synchronous detector (30) and synchronously detected with an another signal supplied from a phase shifter (31) which phase-shifts an output signal of a voltage controlled oscillator of the phase locked loop type frequency demodulator. An output signal of the synchronous detector is supplied through an integrator (43) to a drop-out discriminator (32). The drop-out discriminator discriminates a drop-out generating period.
