    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a composite magnetic particle powder molded body of low loss having excellent permeability and saturation magnetization intensity even in a high frequency band.
      SOLUTION: The powder of composite magnetic particles in which the surfaces of permalloy particles 1 as metallic magnetic particles are coated with a ferrite film 2 as an oxide magnetic film is filled into a die made of graphite, and is sintered and molded in a vacuum using a discharge plasma sintering apparatus. The relative density of the molded body subjected to the sintering reaction is preferably controlled to the range of 80 to 96%. As the material for the metal magnetic particles, e.g., single metals such as iron, cobalt and nickel, superalloy, or alloys using these metals as the base can be used in addition to permalloy. Further, as the material for the ferrite film, e.g., NiZn ferrite, Co ferrite, Mg ferrite, CoZn ferrite or composite ferrite using these ferrite as the main components can be used.
