摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-proofing structure capable of preventing performance degradation, operational instability, in-operability and the like of a linear bearing. SOLUTION: A fluid bearing for lifting a slider 20 is composed by forming fluid jetting ports 22 and 23 for a bearing at appropriate parts of an effective bearing surface 21 of the slider 20 facing to a guide surface 11 (or 12) of a linear shaft. Fluid jetting ports 24 and 25 for foreign matter purge are formed in lower parts at front and rear ends of the slider 20, and a jet flow is sprayed to exposed parts of each guide surface 11 or 12, whereby foreign matter is prevented from intruding into a space between the bearing surfaces. As a result, performance degradation, operational instability, in-operability and the like of the linear bearing are prevented. Adjustment of the jetting direction of the fluid for foreign matter purge and changeover of the type of the fluid may be carried out. Foreign matter may be recovered by forming suction ports in the vicinities of the fluid jetting ports 24 and 25 for foreign matter purge and thereby sucking the foreign matter.
