No seizure is caused on this soft and hard metals exposed surfaces and the wire drawing becomes better by continuously drawing the composite wire in this coating state.

摘要： PURPOSE:To extend the service life of a heat exchanger by contg. the Sn of specified wt.% as a solder constituent composition and taking the balance Pb as well as contg. at the specified rate one or >= two kinds of Ag, Cu and Hg. CONSTITUTION:The Sn of a basic element as a solder constituent is regulated at 2-40% at wt.%. Moreover one or >= two kinds of either Ag, Cu or Hg are added at 0.3-3% and the balance is Pb component. Due to the Sn component being contained in proper amt. an intermetallic compound is formed at the joining boundary part and Sn is difused into the member to be joined. Ag, Cu, Hg form an unsoluble chloride film on the surface by reacting with the chlorine of in the environment, so the corrosion resistance of a solder is improved. Consequently the service life of a soldered heat exchanger is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce additional quantity of an element for giving heat resistance of fin material, to improve heat conductivity and to thin the fin by using a high frequency induction heating furnace to joining at the time of integrately joining by soldering while assembling the fin and a tube. CONSTITUTION:For example, on outer surface of a tube 1 formed by brass far, the solder containing 20% Sn-Pb alloy is coated and ten pieces of the tubes 1 are parallel arranged and the corrugated fin 2 is inserted into each gap between tubes 1 and the whole of them is held by a jig. A radiator core produced by this is integrated in the high frequency induction heating furnace. By this method, only the solder metal can be effectively and rapidly heated to raise the temp. and the max. reaching temp. of the fin material and the tube material can be made to low, and particularly the effect in the fine material is remarkable. Therefore, the additional quantity of the element in the fin material for improving the heat resistance can be reduced and the heat resistance is improved and the fin material can be thinned.

After the pipes or fins are coated with Zn, the pipes or fins are heated in the induction heating furnace in which an inert gaseous or reducing gaseous atmosphere is maintained, while the pipes or the fins are run in the furnace to diffuse the Zn into the brass or copper base and to intensity the adhesive power of the Zn film as well as to prevent the deterioration of the heat transfer characteristic and electrical conductivity which may arise from the formation of the diffused Zn layer.
