    • A tank vent valve for the metered admixing of volatilized fuel to the fuel/air mixture of an internal combustion engine has a valve housing with inflow and outflow sockets, between which is arranged an electromagnetically operable seated valve, which is spring loaded in the closing direction by a valve closing spring. For the simple design of the tank valve, the valve opening of the seat is arranged as a ring gap nozzle in the return yoke of the electromagnet, and the valve double seat which acts in conjunction with the valve member and which surrounds the ring gap nozzle is arranged on that side of the return yoke which faces the inflow socket. For setting the stroke of the valve member, the hollow cylindrical magnet core of the magnet housing can be threaded by means of an adjusting thread in the magnet housing. Supported on the magnet core is a valve closing spring, which loads the valve member which is formed by the armature of the electromagnet, in the closing direction.

    • A discharge system is proposed which serves to introduce volatilized fuel into an intake tube of an internal combustion engine. The discharge system includes a discharge regulation valve, which on one side is located at an outlet line of an absorber element that emits volatilized fuel and on the other side is located at an outflow line which leads to the intake tube downstream of a throttle device. The discharge regulation valve includes a bottom portion and a cover between which one end of a leaf spring is firmly fastened. The other end of the leaf spring is loosely guided in a gap between the bottom portion and the cover. An armature is joined to the leaf spring and a valve closing body is secured to the armature remote from the leaf spring. A core is secured on a magnet housing disposed in the bottom portion and has a through conduit, which at one end terminates at a valve seat. An electromagnetic coil is disposed in the magnet housing and is triggerable in a clocked manner by an electronic control unit in accordance with engine operating characteristics. The spacing between the valve seat and the valve closing body adjusts automatically in accordance with the pressure difference at the valve seat.

    • A pressure regulating apparatus which serves to regulate fuel pressure in a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines. The pressure regulating apparatus includes a pressure regulating valve, which has a valve diaphragm fastened in a valve housing and defining a fuel chamber, which communicates via an inlet conduit with a fuel distributor line. Protruding into the fuel chamber is a valve seat carrier body having a valve seat body, on which a valve seat is embodied, from which an outlet conduit leads to an outlet fitting. The pressure regulating valve is inserted into a holder bushing communicating with the fuel distributor line and is sealed off therefrom by a sealing ring disposed on the regulating valve. The axial fixation of the pressure regulating valve in the holder bushing is effected via a screw connection with a retaining body.

    • A strain relief connection between a housing and an electric conductor assembly. The housing is formed of two plastic housing parts (2,20) which meet with each other over a contact surface (47). The electric conductor assembly (42) includes stranded conductors (43) extending through individual plastic jackets (45) which are surrounded by a common insulating sheath (46). The electric conductor assembly (42) passes from the exterior of the housing to the interior thereof, with portions of the plastic jackets (45) arranged over and contacting the contact surface (47) between the two housing parts (2,20) and with the two housing parts (2,20) being heat sealed together with the plastic jackets (45) at the contact surface (47). One (20) of the two housing parts has a collar-shaped attachment (48) inclined with respect to the contact surface (47) in the vicinity of the electric conductor assembly (42) and partially overlapping the sheath (46) and pressing the sheath (46) against the other (2) of the two housing parts. The strain relief connection is especially useful in conjunction with the housing and electric conductor assembly of an electromagnetic valve.

    • An air valve for a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine is proposed, which assures good start-up of the engine and furnishes a fuel-air mixture required for combustion during overrunning. The air valve includes a housing, which is separated by a diaphragm into a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber communicates with the intake tube section dowstream of a throttle valve and the second chamber comunicates first with the intake tube upstream of the throttle valve and second with the intake tube downstream of the throttle valve. A valve plate guided by the diaphragm engages a valve seat sheath which is slidably supported in a mouthpiece. A flow cross section is formed between the valve seat sheath and the mouthpiece. Immediately following starting, additional air can bypass the throttle valve for the purpose of improved starting up of the engine. Upon attainment of a certain underpressure, the valve seat sheath is displaced in such a manner that a sealing step closes the flow cross section. At under pressures characterized by overrunning, the valve plate rises from the valve seat sheath and enables the supply of additional air to the engine.
