The bearing 53 includes one slide surface 100 and another slide surface 101 opposing to the slide surface 100. One slide surface 100 or another slide surface 101 is fixed on the scroll 32. The slide surfaces 100, 101 are formed out of steel material, and residual austenite quantity near surfaces of both of the slide surfaces 100, 101 is 5 vol.% or higher.

Therefore, the intake refrigerant flowing through the communicating passage is divided into flows, that is, a flow flowing into the boss part 14c to lubricate and cool a bearing 15 or the like before flowing out of the boss part 14c from a discharge port 14d to lubricate and cool a thrust receiving mechanism 17, and then sucked into a scroll type compression mechanism 2, and a flow directly supplied around the thrust receiving mechanism 17 through clearance 25 to lubricate and cool the thrust receiving mechanism 17 before sucked into the scroll type compression mechanism 2. Since the sufficient amount of lubricating oil is surely supplied to the bearing 15 or the like, abnormal abrasion of the bearing 15 or the like can be prevented.
