    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor where a fault is not caused in a photosensitive layer and whose electrophotographic characteristic is not deteriorat ed even when forming a charge transporting layer by dip coating by eliminating a heating and drying stage for a charge generating layer after forming the charge gener ating layer by using a coating liquid including only an organic solvent as a solvent at the time of forming the photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor.
      SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is constituted by forming an intermediate layer on a conductive supporting body; forming the charge generating layer by using the coating liquid including two or more kinds of organic solvents having a different boiling point on the intermediate layer; and applying and forming the charge transporting layer without making the temperature of a work rise to be equal to or above the boiling point of the solvent having the lowest boiling point out of the organic solvents. The surface roughness (maximum height, ten-point average roughness, arithmetic average roughness, and average space between recessed and projecting parts) of the supporting body is set in a specified range, and the thickness of the intermediate layer is made equal to or under the ten-point average roughness.
