    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a booming sound in the control device of a vehicle driving device equipped with a first shift section connected to an engine and a second shift section configuring a portion of a power transmission path at the rear stage of the first shift section in which a total gear ratio is set based on the gear ratio of the two shift sections. SOLUTION: When traveling conditions are set to a booming sound generation region, the gear ratio of a continuously variable shift section as a second shift section is shifted to a low gear side in such a state that an engine is operated along a combustion efficiency optimization line, and the gear ratio of an electric type differential section as a first shift section is shifted to a high gear side for its operation beyond the fuel consumption optimization operation point. This gear ratio control makes it possible to change the resonance frequency of the vibration system of the second shift section. Thus, it is possible to avoid the generation of the twist resonance of the second shift section due to the engine vibration, and to suppress the generation of a booming sound.
