摘要： A device and method for estimating a carrier to interference-plus-noise ratio (CINR) in an OFDM system are provided. The CINR estimating method includes (a) receiving a preamble symbol and transmit subcarrier transmitted from a base station; (b) calculating an interference power and noise power using the preamble symbol and transmit subcarrier; (c) calculating a receive power used for the base station to transmit a preamble and data symbol; (d) estimating a preamble CINR value using an interference power, a noise power, and a receive power; (e) calculating the noise power from a subcarrier not transmitting a preamble; and (f) calculating an average CINR of data subcarriers using the preamble CINR value and the noise power. With such a method, a precise carrier to interference-plus-noise ratio (CINR) can be estimated using a preamble when the preamble power is amplified in comparison with the data symbol power, the subcarriers are differently applied for the respective cells, and the traffic of the data area is partially loading.

摘要： A sphere decoder sets a Euclidean distance between a lattice vector obtained by using an MMSE or ZF estimate and a received signal as an initial radius, further reduces the initial radius, and searches lattices points included inside a hypersphere with the further reduced initial radius. In addition, one lattice vector having a minimum Euclidean distance is output. One dimension is selected to reduce an initial radius, and estimates in other dimensions are kept fixed, excluding the selected dimension. Then candidate lattice points are searched in the selected dimension, excluding a current estimate, such that a minimum Euclidean distance and a lattice point estimate corresponding to the minimum Euclidean distance are obtained. The initial radius is updated by the minimum Euclidean distance, and a final lattice vector is constructed by combining a lattice point estimate corresponding to the initial radius and the lattice point estimates in other dimensions.

摘要： Disclosed is a subcarrier assignment method in a multicarrier communication system, e.g. an OFDM communication system. A frequency bandwidth is divided into a plurality of groups having a predetermined number of contiguous subcarriers, a (p n -1, 1, p n -1) Reed-Solomon code on the Galois Field (p n ) to which identifiers are added according to primitive elements is used, a subcarrier is selected from each group to generate a subchannel, and the generated subchannel is assigned to a base station user. Accordingly, the subcarrier assignment method provides easy cell planning even when using a considerably short Reed-Solomon sequence. The frequency diversity effect is provided to the base station user, and the Reed-Solomon sequence for averaging adjacent cell interference is generated to increase the number of identifiable base stations.

摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for selection of a precoding matrix. In the present invention, a precoding matrix to enable an effective signal-to-noise ratio (ESNR) to have a maximum value with respect to a signal vector that requires retransmission is selected in a codebook and fed back to a transmitter. Accordingly, since the effective signal-to-noise ratio has the maximum value after the signal vector is retransmitted, it is possible to minimize a reception error probability of retransmission.
