    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress resistance, which is caused when a sleeper is inserted into/extracted from an end surface cap, by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this sleeper supporting structure 1, a void materials 51 and 52 and a vibration-proof mat 6 are placed on ballast, and the end surface cap 4 is placed on the void material 51. Concrete is placed on the ballast while right and left ends of the sleeper 2 having an edge-isolating material 3 attached with an adhesive etc. are fitted into the end surface cap 4 and the end surface cap 4 is embedded in the concrete. The edge-isolating material 3 attached to an attachment portion 22 of the sleeper 2 brings an inner surface of an end surface plate 31 into close contact with right and left end surfaces of the attachment portion 22, and brings inner surfaces of front and rear lateral plates 32 into close contact with front and rear lateral surfaces of the attachment portion 22. Additionally, a top surface 32a of the lateral plate 32 is fitted into an inclined plane 22a of an upper edge of the attachment portion 22, and a top surface of the end surface plate 31 is fitted into upper edges of the right and left end surfaces of the attachment portion 22.
