    • The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for realizing virtual reality and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for realizing virtual reality using a circular screen and a rotary ride. According to the present invention, the virtual reality realizing apparatus can be inexpensively constructed by the circular or domical screen and the ride which rotates only; a rider riding on the ride can feel not only rotation, but also three-dimensional motions including upward and downward movements and forward and backward movements; and the vestibular organ and the semicircular canal of the rider are stimulated while the rider does not feel leanness, so that the visual organs of the rider are stimulated to amplify the brain of the rider, hence the degree of excitement of the rider can be increased.

    • PURPOSE: A simulator with 4 degree of freedom is provided to reduce the fault rate of an actuator in a crank arm mode. CONSTITUTION: Four-degree of freedom simulation unit includes a base(30), three actuators(10,20,30), a platform(50), and a restriction member(40). The three actuators are proved in the base and are controllable independently. A platform is connected to three actuators to be supported. The restriction member is arranged between the base and the platform. The actuator is comprised of a rotary motor, a reducer, and a crank arm. The crank arm is formed with a first axis and a second axis. The connection the firs axis and the second axes and the connection of the second axis and the platform are formed through a ball-joint. The connection of the restriction member and the platform are formed by a universal joint.
