摘要： To provide a movable body detecting/notifying system that is capable of determining and reporting whether another movable body exists behind an obstruction or at a position that can be verified by the sense of sight. A movable body detecting/notifying system allows a detecting movable body to detect and report a detected movable body by using electromagnetic wave communication. The detected movable body transmits a large-wavelength electromagnetic wave easily diffractable by an obstruction as well as a small-wavelength electromagnetic wave not easily diffractable by an obstruction at the same time. The detecting movable body generates a notice for reception of only the large-wavelength electromagnetic wave without the small-wavelength electromagnetic wave or a notice for reception of both the large-wavelength and small-wavelength electromagnetic waves different from the notice for reception of only the large-wavelength electromagnetic wave.

摘要： A piezoelectric resonator includes a base member in which piezoelectric layers and internal electrodes are laminated. At one side surface of the base member, the internal electrodes are alternately covered with a first insulating film and with a second film, and first and second external electrodes are disposed thereon alternately connecting the internal electrodes to the first and second external electrodes. An additional material is disposed on the side surface of the base member opposite from the side surface on which the external electrodes are formed by applying ink via an ink jet printer or the like. The additional material is disposed at the opposite ends of the base member in the longitudinal direction. A metal film may also be disposed at a central portion of the base member by a thick film forming method.

摘要： To manufacture a film unit, a filmstrip is advanced out of a cartridge shell by rotating a spool of the cartridge shell through a spool drive shaft. The spool drive shaft stops when the filmstrip is advanced a predetermined length out of the cartridge shell. A rotational position of the spool at the stop of the spool drive shaft is detected based on a rotational position of the spool drive shaft. The cartridge shell is disengaged from the spool drive shaft while the rotational position of the spool and the advanced length of the filmstrip are maintained unchanged. The spool of the cartridge shell is engaged with a film supply shaft, after adjusting a rotational position of the film supply shaft to the rotational position of the spool, while the leading end of the filmstrip is secured to a winding shaft. The filmstrip is wound into a roll by rotating the winding shaft.

The architecture employs a consistent modular structure, a common computing module and uniform software cells. The common computing module includes a control processor, a plurality of processing units, a plurality of local memories from which the processing units process programs, a direct memory access controller and a shared main memory. A synchronized system and method for the coordinated reading and writing of data to and from the shared main memory by the processing units also are provided. A processing system for processing tasks is also provided. The processing system includes processing devices and an absolute timer. The absolute timer defines a time budget. The time budget provides a time period for the completion of tasks by selected processing devices independent of clock frequencies employed by the processing devices for processing the tasks.
