    • PURPOSE:In order to maintain a good cushion motion of a sponge rubber mounted on a cutter drum, which is adapted to press a paper at time of cutting, to prevent the surface of the rubber from being obstructed with paper dust by providing the surface thereof that slidably contacts the cutter with a groove extending in a specific direction. CONSTITUTION:In a folding and cutting apparatus, printing paper 1 is fed between a cutter drum 2 and a thrust drum 3, retained in a catch plate 4 by a thrust edge 6. and cut in co-operation of a cutter 5, a cutter hold rubber 7 and a needle 8. The cutter 5 including an adjusting screw 11 is installed in a cutter box comprising a bottom plate 9a and side plates 9b, and provided with a paper pressing sponge rubber 13 at the end portion thereof, which is adapted to press the printing paper 1 against the trust drum 3. A paper dust exhaust groove 15 is formed on a slide contact surface of the rubber 13 with the cutter 5, the groove 15 extending radially to the cutter drum 2 or in its bias direction. Thus, the slide contact surface of the rubber 13 with the cutter 5 can be prevented from being obstructed with paper dust, so as to maintain a good cushion motion.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain penetration sufficiently and reduce the formation of spatters by periodically superposing peak-to-peak wave electric currents and voltages on respectively optimum reference currents and voltages within an area of large total current and an area of small one.
CONSTITUTION: An area of relatively large total electric current (12+13) and an area of small one (14+15) are repeated at low pulses. Peak-to-peak currents 13 and 15 as well as voltages 13' and 15' are periodically superposed on respectively optimum reference currents 12 and 14 as well as voltages 12' and 14' in a spray I area and a spray II area. In the spray I area the peak-to-peak waves are superposed even if they are above the critical currents, and in the spray II area, the small currents are superposed in order to lower the temp. of molten metal and prevent dripping. Particularly the electric power source characteristics of applying reference currents in the spray II ara are changed over to constant current characteristics, whereby the extremely stable arc is obtained with the small currents.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize a power supply voltage by providing another switching circuit which is operated in relation to a switching circuit, and also determining each on-off time ratio by a deviation of its feedback signal and a set signal voltage. CONSTITUTION:Another switching circuit 18 for executing an on-off operation in relation to a switching circuit 5 from a DC power source 17, and by converting a fetched voltage to an average value, a feedback signal is made. Based on a difference voltage of this signal and a set signal voltage, the switching circuits 5, 18 are brought to the on-off operation by the same on-off time ratio. Also, a control is executed so that the feedback signal becomes the same as a signal voltage of an output voltage setting part 20. According to this method, since the feedback signal is insulated from an output side of the power source, there is no influence of a noise, the power supply voltage can be controlled stably, and also the voltage is stabilized.
