    • In connection with stand lamps it can be desirable that a carrier arm projecting from a stand tube be angularly adjustable relative to this tube, e.g. from somewhat below horizontal to almost vertical, and there is already known different joining fittings usable for this purpose, with associated stabilisation of the loaded carrier arm in the different positions thereof.
