The valve has axially arranged pressure-sensing unit having a diaphragm (13), a valve unit (17,23c) arranged so as to control a fluid communication of the passageway (23a) between the crank and discharge chambers of the compressor, a compensating unit having a balancing rod (18) compensating for the fluid-communication controlling operation of the valve unit (17,23c) in relation to the crank-pressure (Pc) and the discharge pressure (Pd), and a compensation-stopping unit (19,25) stopping the compensation operation of the compensating unit. The control valve permits the compressor to exhibit a satisfactory refrigerating performance irrespective of the ambient temperature.

    • A thrust bearing assembly of a wobble plate type refrigerant compressor for supporting a non-rotatable inclined wobble plate on a rotatable drive element which rotates with a drive shaft, and having a inclined drive face able to convert a rotating motion of the drive element into a wobbling motion of the wobble plate to thereby cause a reciprocation of compression pistons in cylinder bores, the thrust bearing assembly having a plurality of roller elements, an annular retainer elements holding the roller elements therein and rotating in a space between the drive face of the drive element and an inclined face of the wobble plate confronting the drive face, a pair of race elements attached to the drive and inclined faces of the drive element and the wobble plate to provide raceways for rolling of the roller elements, and a circumferentially extended guide way element supplying the annular retainer elements with a constant slide guide during the operation of the compressor irrespective of a change in the operating speed and compression ratio of the compressor.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contact sliding property between members, and increase a delivery capacity by forming a solid lubricating film on a sliding surface of one side member which is brought into mutually contact freely to relatively slide, forming a soft film on a sliding surface of the other member, and forming a solid lubricating component as a solid lubricating component other than soft metal. SOLUTION: A recessed part for advancing an outer peripheral part of a swash plate 10 and a pair of shoes 20A, 20B is formed on an end part of a piston 8. A projection spherical surface 21 as a sliding surface is formed on both shoes 20A, 20B. A recessed spherical surface 81 as a sliding surface which is brought into opposing contact with the projection spherical surface 21 is formed on the recessed part of the piston 8. The piston 8 and a swash plate 10 are made of aluminum alloy, and both shoes 20A, 20B are made of a bearing steel as an iron system material. Each of films 22, 82 are formed on the projection spherical surface 21 and the recessed spherical surface 81. A solid lubricating film including molybdenum disulfide is formed as the film 22, and a soft film serving tin as a principal is formed as the film 82.
