    • PURPOSE:To make the reception state optimum at all times by selecting a synchronization detection circuit or a delay detection circuit having a good condition according to the state when the reception condition is not good and demodulating a detected digital signal after the selection. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal 301 is transmitted to a digital signal output section 314, and inputted to either of a synchronization detection section 307 and a delay detection section 308. A changeover switch 309 is controlled based on the result discriminated by a switching control section 306 and either of them is selected. The switching control section 306 selects either of the synchronization detection section 307 and the delay detection section 308 having an excellent characteristic (condition) based on an average level 304, a variance 305 and the measured result of a multi-path distortion measurement section 303. Moreover, the switching timing of the changeover switch 309 is based on the boundary of clocks or the boundary of packets or frames obtained from a data demodulation section 312. Thus, a bit error ratio at the switching is suppressed and optimum reception is attained against bad conditions such as fading and multi-path distortion.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce noise due to ghost interruption by delaying a Q signal by a prescribed delay value from an I signal obtained by the serial/parallel conversion of a serial digital signal to adjust phases and mutually adding plural subcarriers modulated by multiplying respectively different subcarriers by respective signals. CONSTITUTION:This FM multiplex digital signal sending equipment is provided with the 1st multiplying means 302 for multiplying the 1st subcarrier delaying a Q signal by a prescribed delay value from the I signal obtained from the means 202 and having about (85.5-66.5)/2kHz by an I signal obtained from a serial/parallel conversion means 202, the 2nd multiplying means 303 for multiplying a subcarrier having a 90 deg. phase difference from the 1st subcarrier by a Q signal obtained from a delay means 205 and the 3rd multiplying means 304 for multiplying the modulated wave obtained from the means 302 by the 2nd subcarrier having 76kHz, and the modulated wave obtained from the 2nd means 303 is multiplied by a 76kHz subscarrier having 90 deg. phase difference from the 2nd subcarrier of 76kHz through the 4th multiplying means 305 and two modulated waves are added to each other. Consequently, noise to be generated due to ghost interruption can be reduced.
