    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cloth-clad hollow molded article having beautiful external appearance, in which no breakage occurs at the folded-back edge of a decorative cloth even when the decorative cloth is inserted in a mold at blow molding so as to clad the decorative cloth in such a manner as to fold back over from one side of the hollow molded article to its other side. SOLUTION: A decorative cloth 3 is pasted to the surface 2 of a panel 1, which is a blown hollow molded article made of a thermoplastic plastic. The end part of the decorative cloth 3 pasted on the surface 2 of the panel 1 is pasted by being folded back to the rear surface 5 of the panel 1. At the decorative cloth 3, some portion in the thickness of the cloth is pasted to the surface of the panel 1 under the state being imbedded in the surface of the panel 1. The decorative cloth 3 is made of non-woven fabric or knitted fabric. The tensile strength of the decorative cloth 3 is 120kg/cm or less, its elongation is 100% or more and the weight per area is 200-500g/m .

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an air-conditioning duct for an automobile with high impact absorptivity. SOLUTION: This air-conditioning duct 1 for the automobile is made of thermoplastic resin integrally formed by blow molding, having one wall 2 and the other wall 3 relative with a space in a direction (of an arrow mark) to which impact is applied, and an inner rib 6 of plate shape for absorbing the impact, provided between one wall 2 and the other wall 3 along the longitudinal direction. One wall 2 is inclined with respect to the other wall 3, and one side wall 4 and the other side wall 5 connected to both side ends of one wall 2 and the other wall 3 are relative almost in parallel. The inner rib 6 of plate shape is formed by integrating the tip of one rib 7 with one reinforcing core material 9 of plate shape embedded projecting from one wall 2 toward the other wall 3, with the tip of the other rib 8 with the other reinforcing core material 10 embedded projecting from the other wall 3 toward one wall 2, through a weld part 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hollow molded product, with a heat insulating sheet applied to a part of the product, which is free from distortion due to deformation in a cooling process after blow molding. SOLUTION: This molding method is to blow mold a hollow molded product 1 with a fiber sheet 3 applied only to the outer wall face 2. In this case, a parison is arranged between a pair of split halves of a mold which consists of one side and the other side parts of the mold, and at the same time, a heat insulating sheet is arranged between the parison and the one side part of the mold. The cavity furnace temperature of the one side part of the clamped paired split halves of the mold is maintained at a specific temperature level within the range of temperatures above 0 deg.C to 30 deg.C or within this temperature range. Further, the cavity surface temperature of the other side part of the split halves of the mold is maintained at higher temperatures by 10-70 deg.C than the cavity surface temperature of the one side part of the split halves to perform a blow molding process.
