    • A processed whey protein with an improved shelf life comprising partially heat-denatured whey protein and casein protein is provided. The partially heat-denatured whey protein can be prepared by heating a solution with a protein concentration of 0.5 to 15% by weight and pH 6-8 at 55 to 120° C. for 1 to 120 minutes. A process for the preparation of processed whey protein is also provided and comprises adding casein protein to partially heat-denatured whey protein, or adding casein protein to non-denatured whey protein and heating the mixture to partially denature the non-denatured whey protein. The processed whey protein has an improved shelf life. The gel obtained from the processed whey protein exhibits high water retention capacity and superior elasticity. The product is useful as a raw material of foods.

    • A lead frame (1) is provided which includes elongated side frames (2, 3) extending in parallel to each other, and section bars (4) connecting the side frames in a manner allowing the side frames to be shifted longitudinally. The side frame (2) is integrally formed with first lead terminals (6), whereas the side frame (3) is integrally formed with second lead terminals (7).     • The assembly comprises the tank-side connector 1 and the hose-side socket 2 detachably connected with the tank-side connector 1.     • In a magnetic disk device that retries to start a motor, a CPU increments an I1 counter if the motor can be started at an initial current value, an I5 counter if the motor can be started in the first trial at a maximum current value, and increments an I5R counter if the motor can be started in the second and subsequent trials at the maximum current value. The CPU adds the counter values to the recording values in recording areas assured on the system area of a disk in monitor value storage processing. Upon reception of a specific command from a host unit, the CPU determines based on the numbers of motor start times in units of start current values recorded in the recording areas whether or not the device is in the risky state, and informs the host unit of the determination result.

    • The invention tracks an observer's viewing-position correctly. The viewing-position is subject to shifting swiftly in a viewing-position tracking stereoscopic-display having a time delay of the viewing-position tracking from movement of the observer's viewing-position. A viewing-position tracking stereoscopic-display includes a viewing-position sensor, first and second order differentiators for differentiating positional information of the observer's viewing-position. Gain multipliers multiply the outputs of the differentiators. Band pass filters filter the outputs of the gain multipliers. A viewing-position tracker is driven by a viewing-position tracker driver according to the positional information compensated by adding the outputs of the band pass filters. A liquid crystal projector mounted on the viewing-position tracker projects parallactical images on a lenticular screen tracking the viewing-position, compensated for the time delay, representing a stereoscopic-view of good quality even when the viewing-position of the observer is shifted swiftly.
