    • System (100) and methods (1000) for predicting a turbomachine engine safe start clearance following a shutdown of the turbomachine engine is provided. The system includes a controller (200) operatively connected to a plurality of temperature detecting means (TDM) (300). The TDMs are arranged at an upper and lower part of the engine casing (10), and are configured to sense parameters of the engine and to transmit the sensed parameters to the controller. The controller is configured to receive the sensed parameters and to determine, via a control application of the controller, whether components of the engine have sufficient clearance. The controller is further configured to transmit the clearance information, e.g., to a user. Based on the clearance information, the turbomachine engine is restarted.

    • PURPOSE:To equalize thermal degradation, and lengthen the lives of a plurality of valves composing a steam regulating valve, by judging the opening/closing order of the respective valves on the basis of the operating condition values of the respective valves and the selected opening pattern of the steam regulating valve. CONSTITUTION:In a device which controls a steam regulating valve which is provided at the entrance of a steam turbine and consists of a plurality of valves A to C, a speed load set calculation unit 1 is provided in order to calculate a speed load set value with the speed deviation and a load set value of the steam turbine. In addition, an operating condition value calculating means 2 for calculating the operation condition value of a metal temperature or the like of each valve A to C, and an operating mode selecting means 3 for selecting the operating condition of the steam turbine, are provided therein. The opening/ closing order of each valve A to C is judged in a valve opening/closing order judging means 4 on the basis of the output of each means 1 to 3 thereof, so that an opening/closing motion order command signal is outputted from a valve changing control unit 5 with every valve A to C corresponding to the judging result thereof.
