    • PURPOSE:To uniformly fill a cavity with a powdery stock material, by setting the dimension of a powder measure, which receives advance and retraction control along the surface of a mold frame above a cavity, in the advance and retraction direction thereof to about 50% or less of the dimension of the aforementioned cavity between the front and rear ends thereof. CONSTITUTION:The dimension A1 of the emitting port 7 of a powder measure 5 in the advance and retraction direction thereof is set to about 50% or less of the dimension B1 of a cavity 3 corresponding to said measure 5 between the front and rear ends thereof. In the rising state of an upper mold 4, a predetermined amount of a powdery stock material M is charged in the powder measure 5 present at a stock material replenishment apparatus 6 and the powder measure 5 is then operated to be allowed to advance above the cavity 3 to fall and supply the powdery stock material M in the powder measure 5 in the cavity 3. At the point of time when the measure 5 reached the other end part of the cavity 3, the powder measure 5 is operated to be retracted and returned and, at the time of the return operation thereof, the powder measure 5 is allowed to correspond to the place, where the filling density of the powdery stock material M is low, at the central part of the cavity 3 and reciprocally operated appropriate times over a predetermined width.
