    • PURPOSE:To work crossed grooves on inner face of a pipe efficiently at low cost and in a short time by inserting two groove working punches having working grooves of different slanting angle successively into a pipe to be worked by a feeding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The first groove working punch 2 made by providing a working groove 7 having angle of advance alpha on the body 2a of a punch having outer diameter D1 larger than inner diameter D of a pipe 5 and the second groove working punch 3 made by providing a working groove 8 having angle of sweep back beta on the body 3 of a punch having outer diameter D2 larger than outer diameter D1 are attached to a mandrel 1 by a shaft screw 9 having a guide face 8a with the punch 2 kept free and the punch 3 fixed. By inserting above-mentioned punches 2, 3 successively into the pipe 5 having smooth inner face by a feeding mechanism 6 consisting of the mandrel 1 and a driving device 1a that advances and retreats the mandrel while rotating it. Crossed grooves 10 consisting of plural slanting grooves 10a and 10b are formed on inner face of the pipe 5.

    • PURPOSE:To work an excellent rugged pattern on a shape at low cost by rotating and compressing a shape having plural rows of small projections on the surface in longitudinal direction by rolls provided with irregular and discontinuous rugged pattern on peripheral surface. CONSTITUTION:Plural rows 2 of small projections extending continuously in longitudinal direction on the surface 2 of a shape 1 for architecture are formed by an extruding machine. The shape 1 is fed in feeding direction A at specified speed and inserted between two rolls 4. Rolls 4 are rotated in the direction B corresponding to the feeding direction A and compress the shape 1. A rugged pattern 7 is formed on peripheral faces 6 of the rolls 4 irregularly and discontinuously. Rows 3 of small projections on the shape 1 are squashed corresponding to the rugged pattern 7, and a rugged pattern excellent in design is formed on the surface 2 of the shape 1.
