A second adhesive sheet is made to adhere to the surfaces of glass pieces on the side opposite to the surface to which the first adhesive sheet is made to adhere. The first adhesive sheet is peeled from the glass pieces. The first adhesive sheet is peeled in the state where glass chips that have been created in the process for cutting the glass adhere to the first adhesive sheet, and therefore, most of the glass chips which adhere to the first adhesive sheet are removed with the respective glass pieces in the state of adhering to the second adhesive sheet not being scattered.

摘要： An output of a semiconductor impact sensor contained in an air bag ECU is used to make determination in light of a criterion for interrupting a high-voltage power supply, which is different from a criterion for inflating an air bag so that the semiconductor impact sensor forms a redundant system along with a conventional safing sensor to prevent malfunction. Furthermore, an output of the semiconductor impact sensor contained in the air bag ECU is used to make determination for safing and output a safing signal thereby, so that a redundant system can be formed for a front impact sensor, a side impact sensor, and a rear impact sensor. Accordingly, malfunction can be prevented when tampering such as a strike with a hammer occurs.

摘要： A recess for fully receiving an electronic component and a window opened from the bottom of the recess to the bottom surface of a metal substrate are formed in the metal substrate. A wiring board is bonded to the underside of the metal substrate, and the electronic component is fixed to the bottom of the recess. Input and output terminals of the electronic component are connected to electrode pads of the wiring board exposed within the window using wire bonding. A metal lid is bonded to the top surface of the metal substrate to close the opening of the recess. Electromagnetic waves generated by the electronic component are confined to the electronic device because the electronic device is surrounded by the metal substrate, the metal lid, and a ground electrode disposed on the wiring board. Heat dissipation performance is assured because the electronic component is connected to the metal substrate.
