    • PURPOSE:To perform the measurement of the temp. in a living body excellent in spatial resolving power in a transverse direction and temp. resolving power, by providing a surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonator to an antenna part. CONSTITUTION:An SAW resonator 3 of a microwave band (800MHz-2GHz) is interposed between a square wave guide pipe 2 and a coaxial-wave guide pipe converter. Since the Q-valve of the SAW resonator is about 100 and higher as compared with that of the wave guide pipe 2 (Q=1), the frequency of the microwave entering the wave guide pipe 2 can be taken out so as to be limited to a narrow range. Therefore, even when the opening dimension of the wave guide pipe 2 is reduced, a specific frequency region can be received without lowering sensitivity. Further, by mounting the SAW resonator 3, the dimension of an antenna can be reduced to about 1/10 and geometrical resolving power, that is, spatial resolving power in a transverse direction can be enhanced and, at the same time, since only the frequency corresponding to temp. can be picked up, temp. resolving power can be enhanced. By this method, the measurement of the temp. in a living body excellent in transverse direction spatial direction and temp. resolving power can be performed.

    • PURPOSE: To set the center frequency by the order of ≥1 digit with high accuracy in the present photomask forming specifications, by increasing or decreasing the interdigital electrode with only as to one or plural interdigital electrodes within the conventional accuracy of the photomask at each repetition of the interdigital electrodes.
      CONSTITUTION: The insulating region of the interdigital electrode and between said interdigital electrodes is set to two kinds of widths, one width has a change being ≤1μm from the other and the relation of the combination of the two kinds of widths realizing the prescribed electrode pitch is provided repetitively to the entire filter.     • PURPOSE:To obtain a filter with excellent in-band characteristics, by setting an electric length between two transducers and an electric length between the transducer and an equivalent reflecting plane of a reflector to a prescribed value so as to eliminate the effect of a reflected wave. CONSTITUTION:A part of a direct wave reaching directly the transducer 6 among excited waves is a reflected wave 9, which is returned to the transducer 5. On the other hand, the wave reaching the adjacent reflector 1 is reflected on the equivalent reflecting plane 11 and passes through the transducer 5, and a part of it becomes a reflected wave 10. The reflected wave 10 is reflected againt on the equivalent reflecting plane 11 of the reflector 1 and returns to the transducer 5. The two reflectors 9, 10 are interferred with each other on the transducer 5, which causes a ripple in the in-band characteristic of the filter. In order to avoid the effect of the reflected wave, the electric length l3 between the transducers 5, 6 is brought different from by an odd number multiple from the length of twice the electric length l4 between the transducer 5 and the equivalent reflected plane 11 of the transducer 5. Thus, the filter having excellent in- band characteristic is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the attenuation at the outside of the band and to avoid ripples, by connecting transducers which are arranged symmetrically on the same base and oriented unidirectionally in series. CONSTITUTION:A signal applied to the 1st surface acoustic wave device becomes sound waves with transducers 5-1 and 5-2. Multistrip couplers 8-1 and 8-2 are used to unidirectionally orient the propagation of the waves only to a transducer 4. Most of the surface waves are reflected at the transducer 4 at a non-pass band and absorbed to a power supply and a load via the transducers 5-1 and 5-2. An output of the transducer 4 is transmitted to a transducer 6 of the 2nd surface acoustic wave devices arranged symmetrically. Through the symmetrical arrangement of both devices, the transmission between the transducers is made under correct matching. Thus, signals within the band can be transmitted without distortion.
