摘要： A rapid lipid extraction protocol is provided. The protocol allows extraction of bacterial and fungal lipids from samples and purification of the same within one hour or less. The lipids produced using the protocol are of sufficient quality and purity that they can be analyzed using mass spectral analysis, and the data from such analysis can be used to identify the particular bacterial or fungal species from which the lipids are derived.

The method includes obtaining, on a processor, first data that indicates values for one or more parameters of a characteristic of a peak of a Fourier transform of a continuous photoplethysmographic (PPG) waveform or a continuous electrocardiogram (ECG) waveform or both collected during the treatment. The method further includes applying, on the processor, coefficients to the values for the one or more parameters. The method further includes determining, on the processor, second data that indicates a prediction that the caregiver will order the blood transfusion during the treatment based on applying the coefficients to the values. The method further includes presenting on a display device output data based on the second data. An apparatus is also provided for predicting that the caregiver will order the blood transfusion during the treatment.

The compositions include a MHC molecule including covalently linked first and second domains, wherein the first domain is an MHC class II βΐ domain and the second domain is an MHC class II al domain, wherein the amino terminus of the al domain is covalently linked to the carboxy terminus of the βΐ domain, and a prostate specific antigen peptide covalently linked to the first domain.
