摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for an electron tube stem capable of manufacturing high quality electron tube stems by properly setting disposition of lead-in wires. SOLUTION: Wells 5 are inserted into wells insertion grooves 17 in a mold lower die 12 by moving roller bodies 22 to follow. Since a coil spring 37 energizes the roller bodies 22 in contracting direction, pressurization is uniformly provided to the wells 5 radially in the radial direction of the mold lower die 12 to energize the coil spring 37 toward the center of the mold lower die 12 to be held. Since the roller bodies 22 are rotatably because of balls 26, they can be easily moved in moving the wells 5 up and down. In forming an electron tube stem by press-molding, position deflection of the wells 5 can be prevented, so a pitch circle of the wells 5 can be kept round, thereby a leakage defect by the electron tube stem 1 can be prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a thickness of a phosphor layer, and to eliminate uselessness of a material by forming the phosphor layer on plate glass, and joining mutual long side directional end parts by working the plate glass in a tube shape while heating the plate glass to the softening point or more. SOLUTION: Aluminum oxide particles are applied on plate glass 5 made of soda glass, and is dried to form an aluminum oxide layer 6. A phosphor is applied on it, and is dried and baked to obtain plate glass 8 forming a phosphor layer 7. This plate glass 8 is worked in a tube shape, and is welded by a joining part 9 to obtain a glass tube 10. Next, a fluorescent lamp 11 is completed by an ordinary method. Mutual end parts of the plate glass can be reliably joined by expanding the area of a region being the joining part 9 by tearing off an aluminum oxide layer and the phosphor layer 7 in long side directional opposed end parts of the plate glass being the joining part 9.

摘要： PURPOSE:To weld glass tubes with each other without displacing the center axis, by parallelly placing a pair of glass tubes facing the side faces close to each other, softening the part of the glass tube where a through hole is to be opened, forcibly welding the tubes with a pair of pincher heads and opening a hole on the welded part. CONSTITUTION:A pair of glass tubes 1 are placed in parallel facing the side faces close to each other. A part of the glass tube 1 where a through-hole is to be opened is heated and softened with a flame of a burner 6 applied to the tube through lower open end 11. One of a pair of pincher heads 8 is inserted into the glass tube 1 through the opened end 11 and the heated and softened part is forcibly pinched and welded to form a weld part 13. After removing the head 8, the weld part 13 is melted by heating. A hole to form a through-hole 12 is opened by the blasting pressure of the burner 6. The edge of the hole is stretched by the surface tension of the glass in the direction to expand the through-hole 12 and a built-up 11 is formed at the edge of the through-hole 12. At the same time, the built-up 11 is pushed outward by the blasting pressure of the burner 6 to weld the built-up parts with each other and to connect the glass tubes in a state hermetically separated from the outside of the tube.
