    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire, especially a run-flat tire, which is excellent in stable traveling under the deflated condition and in bead-part durability. SOLUTION: In order to form a wheel with a tire, a reinforcing rubber 3 is arranged on the internal surface of tire 1, while the tire 1 is fitted to an application rim 4. In this case, a bed reinforcing part 8, which projects toward the outside in the lateral direction 7 of the tire 1, is installed in the position at which a bead part 6 of the tire 1 and the upper part (5a) of the rim flange stand opposite to each other. In addition, a rim-slippage preventing layer 9, which has a facing surface whose redius of curvature is substantially equal to that of the upper part (5a) of the rim flange and which consists of relatively soft rubber, is provided at a position where the bead reinforcing part 8 and the upper part (5a) of the rim flange stand opposite to each other. Moreover, the rim-slippage preventing layer 9 of the bead reinforcing part 8 becomes in tight contact with the upper part (5a) of the rim flange under such conditions as; (l) a range of air pressure from the atmospheric pressure to the air pressure less than 80% of that corresponding to the maximum load capacity and as (2) a load condition from the no load condition to the maximum load condition.
