摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticlouding member used under an indoor illuminating lamp, and a self-cleaning member which is used in such an environment that the member is illuminated with the indoor illuminating lamp, and submerged in water, and wetted with water, or rinsed with water so that a stain on the surface can be washed out and the surface can be cleaned, and which is submerged in water, and wetted with water, or rinsed with water so as to be cleaned. SOLUTION: The anticlouding member used under the indoor illuminating lamp is provided with a base material and a surface layer which is bonded to the surface of the base material, consisting of anatase type titania crystals or rutile type titania crystals. The anatase type titania crystals or the rutile type titania crystals make the surface of the surface layer hydrophilic so as to show a water-wettable characteristic of about 10° or smaller in terms of a contact angle to water in response to photoexcitation by the indoor illuminating lamp. 摘要： PURPOSE: To regularly distribute a powder on a substrate, by forming the uniform film like stream of a powder/gas suspension vertically in the vicinity of the substrate to be coated while accelerating the stream of a gas/powder mixture by introducing the stream of auxiliary gas.
CONSTITUTION: The film like stream of the powder suspended in gas having a length at least equal to the width of a substrate 2 to be coated is formed vertically in the vicinity of said substrate 2 by a conduit 10 and flowed toward the substrate 2 over the entire width thereof. Subsequently, a gas stream is introduced into the above mentioned stream by a perforated pipe 18 to form turbulent flow and a gas/powder mixture is uniformized with the advance toward the substrate 2 while, by the high speed auxiliary gas stream introduced to the side surface of said mixture from an opening 23, the above mentioned mixture is driven to accelerate the motion of the powder toward the substrate 2. By this mechanism, the powder is regularly distributed on the substrate 2.

The surface layer includes an outermost layer contacting with a molding surface of a molding die in press molding and an intermediate layer adjacent to the outmost layer, the outermost layer is a silicon oxide film having a surface free energy measured by a three-solution method of ≤75 mJ/mand having a film thickness of 0.10 Å, wherein in a case in which the bond-radius difference is >0.10 to 0.40 Å, a film thickness of the intermediate layer is ≤5 nm.

SOLUTION: This member has a surface layer composed of a base material and an anatase-type titania crystal or a rutile-type titania crystal. The anatase-type titania crystal or the rutile-type titania crystal makes a surface of the surface layer hydrophilic which exhibits water wettability expressed by a contact angle with water of about 10° or below in response to photoexcitation by irradiating ultraviolet rays for a day at the rate of 0.5 mW/cm 2 . 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a compound material usable in an environment wherein the compound material is lit by an interior illumination lamp and has its surface cleaned by washing dirt sticking on the surface away as a result of dipping in water, wetting with water or rinsing with water. SOLUTION: The compound material includes a base material and a photocatalytic coating containing a mixture of a photocatalytic semiconductor material and silica and has hydrophilicity on its surface. The surface of the coating has hydrophilicity of ≤20° in terms of an angle of contact with water in response to light excitation of the photocatalytic semiconductor material by an interior illumination lamp. Consequently, the contamination deposited on the surface of the compound material is washed away by dipping the compound material in water, or wetting or rinsing the compound material with water to clean the surface.
