    • A seat assembly includes a track mount configured to shift along a track and a platform configured to selectively latch to, unlatch from, and pivot relative to the track mount. The assembly also includes a seat-back and a seat-cushion, each connected to the platform and configured to selectively latch to, unlatch from, and pivot relative to the platform. The assembly additionally includes a first mechanism configured to selectively operate the seat assembly in a first mode and a second mode. The first mode includes unlatching and pivoting the seat-back and unlatching and pivoting the platform such that the seat assembly tumbles relative to the track. The second mode includes unlatching and pivoting the seat-cushion and unlatching and pivoting the seat-back such that the seat-back comes to rest substantially parallel to the track mount. A vehicle having the seat assembly is also provided.

    • A vehicle seat assembly attachable to a vehicle having a striker member is provided having a seat frame configured for connection to the vehicle. A portion of the seat frame may be configured to move between a first seat position and a second seat position. A hook member may be mounted directly to the seat frame. The hook member may have a protrusion and may be configured for movement between a latched position and an unlatched position. The hook member may engage the striker member when the portion of the seat frame is in the first seat position and the hook member is in the latched position. The protrusion and the striker member may cooperate to restrain the seat frame in the first seat position when member engages the striker member. The hook member may be disengaged from the striker member when the hook member is in the unlatched position.

    • Vehicle including a system for obtaining information about an occupant in a compartment in the vehicle includes illuminating an area of the compartment in which the occupant is expected to be situated with infrared illumination, the infrared illumination being generated from at least one common source and being simultaneously directed from each common source in multiple directions into the area of the compartment in which the occupant is expected to be situated. Infrared receivers receive infrared waves from the area of the compartment in which the occupant is expected to be situated after illumination of the area of the compartment and generate images of the area of the compartment. A processor analyzes the received infrared waves and obtains information about the occupant therefrom when the occupant is situated in the compartment. One or more vehicular components may be controlled based on the obtained information.
