      SOLUTION: In the vehicle body transfer device to transfer a vehicle body from one line to the other line between conveyor lines of a plurality of systems to carry the vehicle body while supporting at least the lower part of the vehicle body, the vehicle body transferred by the transfer device has an underfloor member (12) having downwardly tapered symmetric inclined surfaces (12a), and the transfer device has an elevating/lowering means (a hydraulic cylinder 8) having a pair of rollers (11) abutted on right and left inclined surfaces. When the elevating/lowering means is elevated, and the rollers are abutted to the inclined surfaces of the member provided underfloor of the vehicle body, deviation in the right-to-left direction of the vehicle body is corrected, and the vehicle body is automatically centered to the transfer device.
