The method of this embodiment may also include causing the one or more victim cells experiencing an interference condition in the interference area to be scheduled in different resources of the one or more resources than those resources scheduled for the one or more interference sources.

Transmission allocation information is determined at the mobility management unit based on the obtained deployment information, the transmission allocation information comprising for each of the uncoordinated base stations their respective at least one symbol in said subframe of said dedicated radio resource and their respective at least one subchannel for use in their respective over-the-air communication transmissions, such that simultaneous over-the-air communication transmissions between an uncoordinated base station and its target uncoordinated base station are prevented. To the uncoordinated base stations are transmitted their respective determined transmission allocation information.

    • The present application relates generally to use of radio resources in a radio access network (RAN) and, in more specific, Full-Duplex (FD) transmission on the same carrier. Due to the mobility of the UEs or the non-optimal grouping, two UEs belonging to different groups may be close to each other while performing transmission and cause serious transmission interferences to 5 each other. This is one of the problems which a method in accordance with the invention aims to solve. When the performing the method a RAN triggers a UE to measure 601 first interferences originated from a first group of UEs. Then the RAN triggers the same UE to measure 602 second interferences originated from a second group of the UEs. Finally, the RAN places 603 the UE into the first group, if the first interferences are higher than the second interferences. The both 10 groups of the UEs are composed of such user equipments which share a group-specific transmission pattern. Uplink and downlink resources of the RAN are scheduled according to a time-division to the UEs, so that simultaneous transmissions are allowed only for such user equipments that belong to different groups. Advantages of the invention are the following: 1) simultaneus transmission and reception is supported in a RAN and in a UE which is either a FD 15 UE or a HD UE, 2) different kinds of interferences are efficiently reduced, and 3) the interferences are measured in a way that saves power.

    • The present invention proposes methods, devices and computer program products in relation to interference reduction, in particular for devices comprising a transceiver module configured for TDD operation in a network environment wherein a partition of subframes of channels are configurable to be flexibly assigned for downlink or uplink transmission while other subframes are fixedly configured for either uplink or downlink transmission. Aspects of such devices encompass a controller module configured to determine those subframes that are flexibly assigned and configured for downlink transmission, identify, among those determined subframes, a subframe carrying a control channel, and restrict physical resources for the control channel in the identified subframe. In another aspect, such devices encompass control of a transmitter of the transceiver module to transmit information indicative of restricted physical resources for the control channel in the identified subframe. The invention also addresses corresponding receiving devices and terminals as well as associated methods.
