摘要： A system and method control a consistent color quality of overlay colors and single separations of color. The method determines a first error for a first separation of a first color, wherein the first error has a first sign. The method identifies a second error for a second separation of a second color, wherein the second color is a different color than the first color, wherein the second error is based on an actual density value for toner particles printed transferred from the second separation, wherein the second error has a second sign. The method compares the first sign of the first error and the second sign of the second error. The method converges the actual density value of the second separation to a target position when the first sign is a different sign than the second sign.

摘要： An implement is coupled to and pulled by a tractor. The tractor includes ground engaging drive wheels driven by an engine, an operator movable speed command device, and a tractor controller having automatic and manual speed control modes. The implement has an implement control unit coupled to the tractor controller. The implement control unit transmits an implement speed request signal to the tractor controller. The tractor controller controls tractor motion in response to operation of the speed command device and the implement speed request signal. A system and method of controlling the tractor/implement combination includes generating an Operator Speed Limit value as a function of the speed command device, comparing the Operator Speed Limit value to the implement speed request signal, and automatically exiting the automatic speed control mode and enabling the manual speed control mode if the Operator Speed Limit remains greater than the implement speed request for the duration of a predetermined time period and if the Operator Speed Limit value has been increased.

摘要： What is disclosed is a novel system and method for automatically retrieving and configuring the print device to a set of device specific system settings tailored for user selected media attributes. In one embodiment, an operator selects media attributes desired for a particular print job on a print device which then automatically queries a database over a network for a set of device specific system settings tailored to the selected media attributes. The database system determines the existence of at least one record stored in the database and provides that matching record data back to the print device. The matching record data is received and displayed on a user interface for review by an operator. The operator accepts/modifies the displayed system settings. The print device then automatically configures the device to the accepted device specific system settings.

摘要： A method for rendering a raster output level determines an image position of a pixel of interest (POI) within an image. An intended raster output level, which corresponds to the POI, is received into a processing device. A final raster input level is determined as a function of the image position and the intended raster output level. The final input level and the image position are transmitted to an output device. An actual raster output level is rendered, via the output device, at a position on an output medium corresponding to the image position. The actual raster output level substantially matches the intended raster output level.

摘要： A digital scanner includes a multipurpose registration member that has a document registration edge locate surface, a carriage horizontal locate surface, a carriage vertical locate surface, and a platen locate surface. The platen locate surface provides registration for a transparent platen and the document registration edge locate surface provides registration for a registration edge member. The carriage horizontal locate surface and the carriage vertical locate surface provides registration for a scanning carriage which abuts the slide pad. Also, the multipurpose registration member includes a document handle locate surface to registration a document handler. The inclusion of these locate surfaces on a single registration member enables efficient assembly, without extraneous manual adjustments, of a digital scanner having proper registration.
